<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible chair having an inclined seat back, and a seat for adjustably moving forward and a little upward in a mode having compatibility with a column base. <P>SOLUTION: This flexible chair 10 has a seat bottom part 14 supported by a seat frame 18, the seat back 16 having a lower part 20b rotatably installed in the seat frame, and a seat back frame 20 rotatably installed in an upper part 20a of the seat back and supported by a column 12. The seat back frame has a pair of lower end parts 20b respectively and slidingly engaging with the seat frame or the seat bottom part. A pair of springs 30 apply energizing force between the lower end parts and the seat frame or the seat bottom part.
