<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the solution of problems such as a defective printing, a printing interruption, or a starting stoppage on a host computer system side which may occur when a connection test is performed by connecting a printing device with an unspecified large number of host computer systems. <P>SOLUTION: This printing device is equipped with a data input/output controlling device with higher rank host-computer systems, and a receiving buffer. The input/output controlling device is equipped with a parallel interface. Printing data which is transferred to the receiving buffer is compared with printing data which is arbitrarily set, and a trigger signal is formed when printing data which agrees with the set printing data is received. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
