<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus with which paper can effectively be used by minimizing unnecessary margin on printed paper that is outputted by division printing such as enlargement consecutive printing. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus (1) having a division print function in which the image of a one-page document is divided into smaller parts and they are printed on two or more sheets of paper includes: a plurality of paper feed bins for feeding different size sheets of rolled paper; a setting means (50) for receiving a setting that makes the division print function effective; a determination means (10) for determining the combination of paper feed bins in order to minimize an amount of margin on which printing is not carried out by the division print function that uses the rolled paper; and a control means (10) for selecting the paper feed bins according to the determined combination of paper feed bins and controlling the output of prints. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
