<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition which can reveal a superior adhesion durability and periphery sealing durability to hard tissues, specially to the enamels, dentins, and the like of teeth. <P>SOLUTION: The adhesive composition containing a polymerizable monomer (a) having an alkylene group of which the number of carbons of the main chain is 3 or more, a phosphno group, and two or more polymerizable groups; and a water-soluble solvent(b), is provided. The adhesive composition of this invention is suitable for bonding, for example, hard tissues and a repairing material, specially a resin materal, in medical field or dental field. Specially, because the adhesive composition of this invention is superior in periphery sealing durability to the enamels and dentins of teeth, the intrusion of carious bacteria through the bonding part of the teeth and the repairing material is suppressed by using this adhesive composition for the treatment of cariositys, and the relapse of the cariosity, that is, a secondary cariosity is prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
