<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a customer service without giving any distrust to the customer by using an old card without returning it when accepting the old card. <P>SOLUTION: This ball lending system is provided with a ball lending machine 1 for executing ball lending processing by accepting a card and an information managing device 6 for converting the data format of data into a current data format. The ball lending machine 1 and the information managing device 6 are communicatively connected to each other. When the data format of the data fetched from the card are the current data format, the controller of the ball lending machine 1 reads the data, and in the other case, the controller transmits the data to the information managing device 6.
