PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid engine with an electric motor and a generator built into a rotary engine. SOLUTION: This hybrid engine comprises the generator, the electric motor, and the rotary engine. In the rotary engine, a pivot blade 7 rotatively attached to a rotor 6 is engaged with a housing comprising an annular intermediate member 9, thereby an intake chamber, a compression chamber, a combustion chamber and an exhaust chamber are sequentially formed between the rotor 6 and the annular intermediate member 9.
