LENS BARREL, IMAGING APPARATUS EQUIPPED WITH THE LENS BARREL AND CAMERA EQUIPPED WITH THE IMAGING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel, realizing improvement in photographer's operability and reduction of the number of components, while it is equipped with a manual operating member. SOLUTION: The lens barrel is equipped with a photographic optical system for forming the optical image of a subject; a focus lens group included in the photographic optical system and moving in a direction parallel with the optical axis of the photographic optical system so as to make the object distance change; a moving means for moving the focus lens group in the direction which is in parallel with the optical axis; a driving means for driving the moving means; a focus ring formed in cylindrical shape coaxial to the optical axis of the photographic optical system and manually operated to rotate, so that the driving means is driven to move the focus lens group by the moving means; and a focus mode switching button provided integrally with a focus and operated to switch between a state where manual rotation operation of the focus ring is allowed and a state where it is prohibited.
