PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain informed coding of a watermark message containing the definition of code, with which each message is expressed by two or more separate codewords, an identity of a set of the codeword representing a given message and an embedded codeword to the set which would probably make the distortion of cover work minimum. SOLUTION: It minimizes the conceptual influence due to the informed coding of the embedded electronic watermark message, and at the same time, makes robust with respect to operation after embedding of various forms. Moreover, this is also attained by the informed embedding of the watermark message code into the cover work. Finally, in order to minimize the influence over fidelity of work embedded with watermark, the watermark message code can be shaped conceptually.
