PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of deterioration of capacity in battery properties and increase in internal resistance due to anode corrosion of conductive materials in a positive electrode current collector when a conventional ceramic package case, which is made of alumina and used for electronic components such like semiconductor devices or quartz resonators, including a conductive pattern of electrodes from the inside of the case to the outside, is used for a chip-type electrochemical cell comprising a pair of positive and negative electrodes, a separator and a nonaqueous electrolyte. SOLUTION: An outer package case is embedded with the conductive pattern which doubles as the positive electrode current collector. A conductive material selected among metal materials, carbon materials or conductive ceramic materials is arranged so that it does not have anode corrosion to obtain the property of electrochemical cell. Further, seam welding using the resistance welding method reliably seals an opening of the case. In this way, the conductive material resistant to anode corrosion is provided for the chip-type electrochemical cell comprising a pair of positive and negative electrodes, a separator and a non-aqueous electrolyte.
