PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the simplification of a constitution of a contact point part in a fitting part for fitting a liquid container equipped with a storage means and also the facilitation of an assembling work on the contact point. SOLUTION: In the liquid injection device which spews a liquid supplied from an ink cartridge and stored in a pressure chamber, through a nozzle opening in the form of liquid droplets due to pressure variations caused by a pressure generating element, a contact point continuity member 62 which can establish a continuity with a contact point continuous to a storage device of an ink cartridge, is installed at a cartridge fitting part which fits the ink cartridge in a detachable manner. In addition, the contact point continuity member 62 has a device side contact point 61 arranged on a surface extending in the detachable direction of the ink cartridge and a continuity part 68 which has established a continuity with the device side contact point 61 and is supported by a base part 64.
