PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera which neither misses a photo opportunity nor omits to record information on positions. SOLUTION: Even if position information on a self position measured by a position measuring means of measuring the self position on the earth on the basis of data received from a satellite is in an undetermined state, image information is recorded in a recording medium with priority by a recording means. After the position information is determined, the definite position information is recorded in the recording medium by associating with one or more pieces of a series of image information recorded when the position information is undefined.
