PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly melt a lump of chocolate for liquidization without expecting a convection current. SOLUTION: A heating pattern determined by the position (the rotational angle of a rotary antenna 12) of a slot antenna 12a and the rotational angle of a turntable 4 is obtained by a heating experiment using the lump of chocolate 2 or a computer analysis in advance, and various kind of data are registered by a control unit 11, thus directly applying microwaves to the lump of chocolate 2 by controlling each using the control unit 11 for heating, quickly and efficiently relaxing heating irregularities without depending on heat conduction, and efficiently and uniformly heating the lump of chocolate 2 nearly to the center.
