PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize remote copy procedures without considerably increasing costs for implementing a storage network, and to improve reliability of the storage network. SOLUTION: The storage network comprises a first storage site 510 having a first set of a disk drive, a second storage site 514 having a memory medium connected with the first storage site 510 in a communicatable state, and a third storage site 518 having a second set of a disk drive connecting with the second storage site 514 in a communicatable state.
