FOUNDATION BLOCK FOR GUARDRAIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of a connection part for connecting adjacent blocks to each other and also increase the connection strength of these blocks. SOLUTION: This foundation block for a guide rail used by connecting in an extension direction comprises a bottom board 2, a front wall 3 vertically installed at the front end of the bottom board, a reinforcement block 4 formed by increasing the thickness of a part of the front wall and boring a hole 7 for constructing a column, and side walls 5 and 6 installed in contact with the front wall on the inside of both ends of the bottom board which are formed integrally with each other. The side wall is formed in an L-shape of long side-walls 5a and 6a formed by connecting one end to the front wall and extending in the longitudinal direction and short side-walls 5b and 6b continuously installed parallel with the front wall from the other ends of the long side-walls to the side end of the bottom board. A connection means connecting the adjacent blocks to each other is installed in spaces for connection (8) and (8) surrounded by the side wall and a part of the front wall. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
