PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof sheet for an external heat insulation method, which is excellent in waterproofness, heat insulation properties, airtightness, and windbreak performance, and available in an external heat insulation structure. SOLUTION: The waterproof sheet is available in the external heat insulation structure which is formed of an external wall member, a heat insulating material containing discontinuous bubbles therein, and a structural skeleton in this order from the outside, and specifically the waterproof sheet is arranged outside the heat insulating material. The waterproof sheet is of a multi-layered structure consisting at least of a surface layer formed of a synthetic resin and a reinforcing layer, and has an entire thickness in the range of 30 to 2,000μm. The waterproof sheet has a tensile load of 50 N or more in longitudinal and lateral directions, which is measured by using a sample having a width of 50 mm according to JIS A 6111, an anti-water pressure characteristic of 10 kpa or more, which is measured according to JIS A 6111, as well, and a moisture permeability of less than 50 cc/(m<SP>2</SP>day), which is measured according to JIS Z 0208 (B method).
