PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance flexibility of design by shortening the distance between a photoreflector and a reflection plate and to reduce manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The in-vehicle electronic instrument is provided with a slide member 5 slide-moving in a casing 2 in a predetermined direction; the reflection plate 11 installed in the casing along a movement direction of the slide member 5; and the photoreflector 6 provided on the slide member 5 and detecting a reflection ratio of the reflection plate 11. The electronic instrument is provided with a holder 7 having a slide-contact part 9 provided on the slide member 5, retaining the photoreflector 6 and slide-contacting with an inner wall 10 of the casing 2; an urging member 8 provided on the slide member 5 and urging the holder 7 to the inner wall 10 side of the casing 2.
