摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autonomous traveling robot cleaner capable of thoroughly cleaning the whole room without inputting the shape of a room and information on obstacles and regardless of the shape of the room and the arrangement of the obstacles. SOLUTION: The robot cleaner 1 performs a standard cleaning action for cleaning while traveling according to a predetermined traveling rule, makes map information showing cleaning completed areas and obstacle present areas during the standard cleaning action, and thereafter performs an unclear area cleaning action for cleaning unclear areas based on the map information. For example, the robot cleaner 1 start the standard cleaning action from an O point, travels from the O point along routes Z1 to Z4 to reach a P8 point according to a predetermined traveling rule, and finishes the standard cleaning action at the P8 point. Thereafter, the robot cleaner performs the unclean area cleaning action based on the map information made during reaching the P8 point from the O point, and cleans from a P9 point to a P10 point along a route Z5, from a P11 point to a P12 point along a route Z6, and from a P13 point to a P14 point along a route Z7.
