PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of improving the interest of a player. SOLUTION: The game machine is provided with a first game control means for executing a variable display game in which two or more pieces of identification information are variably displayed and then stopped and displayed and winning conditions are decided by the identification information or the combination of the identification information stopped and displayed on a valid line as a first game, and a second game control means for executing a second game when specified conditions are established in the first game. The second game control means executes the variable display game as the second game and controls a return rate in the second game to be higher than the return rate in the first game by converting one, two or more pieces of identification information displayed in the variable display game to special identification information defined as the one capable of replacing two or more kinds of identification information and raising the probability that the identification information or the combination of the identification information stopped and displayed on the valid line becomes prescribed winning conditions.
