The present invention relates to plenum cables jacketed with a composition comprising perfluoropolymer and inorganic char-forming agent, which passes t he NFPA-255 burn test, and to preferred compositions for forming the jacket on such cables and other melt-fabricated articles, wherein hydrocarbon polymer is also present in the composition, and to these same compositions which may include other inorganic particulate filler and provide improved ink- printability on the melt-fabricated article surface, and to extrusion conditions, notably extrusion at low temperatures (271~C to 343~C) and at a draw ratio balance less than 1, that enable the cable jacket to be extrusion - formed at a line speed of at least 91.5 m/min.
