FIELD: mechanical engineering; automotive industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for cleaning gaseous combustion products formed at combustion of fuels, such as gasoline or gas oil. Proposed device is placed in exhaust manifold for gaseous combustion products installed on automobile. Device contains immersion heater, liquid separator, evaporator, absorber, catalytic chamber arranged before heater, expansion valve, evaporator installed in gas discharge chamber before absorber, and condenser. According to proposed method, gaseous combustion products are afterburned in catalytic chamber and cooled to temperature corresponding to condensing temperature of substances formed at burning. Liquid formed at condensing is collected, and thermal energy of gaseous combustion products is recovered by delivering into chilling module using absorption principle of operation. ^ EFFECT: provision of cleaning of gaseous combustion products. ^ 10 cl, 3 dwg |
