At one outer end of each flexible arch first transmission devices (18) are fixed with a lever (4) rotatably fixed by a fixture shaft (5) to a flexible arch. #CMT# : #/CMT# A draw string (6) for tensioning the bow is partly wound around both levers, to which it is connected by eyelets (15). On the hand grip, two gearwheels (13) are mounted, which engage on the toothed sides of two toothed racks (12).
