FIELD: welding equipment and processes, namely removal of annular inner flash formed at contact butt welding of tubes in oil (gas) production and main pipelines. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes housing having three mutually joined parts with two end flanges; mechanism for radial feed of cutting tool; mechanism for clamping tube and hydraulic supply and control system. Mean part of housing is welded one; it has annular and axial cavities. Rotary face chuck with cutting heads including holders of cutting tools and supporting runners is mounted in mean part of housing. Mechanism for radial feed of cutting tool includes hydraulic cylinder arranged in axial cavity of mean part of housing; arranged in mean part of housing annular sleeve with outer cone surface rigidly joined with body of hydraulic cylinder; cone rollers engaging with annular sleeve; return springs. The last engage with slides carrying cutting heads. Rod of hydraulic cylinder is secured to mean part of housing which is mounted with possibility of axial motion. ^ EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities, lowered time period for removing flash, enhanced quality of flash removal. ^ 7 dwg |
