FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, vacuum cleaning equipment. ^ SUBSTANCE: dust catcher is adapted for detachable attachment in suction chamber of vacuum cleaner case to filter dust from dust-laden air sucked into suction chamber through air suction opening extending to the outside. Dust catcher has dust collecting casing equipped with connecting opening joined to air suction opening, discharge member for discharge of sucked-in air, and filtering assembly detachably mounted in discharge member and comprising at least first, second and third porous filters arranged in succession. Pores of second filter are smaller than those of first filter, and pores of third filter are smaller than those of second filter. Dust-laden air sucked through connecting opening passes in succession through first, second and third filters. First filter is formed as netted member and second filter is formed as sponge. Third filter may be made from nonwoven material or may contain external frame tightly contacting with rim of discharge member of dust catching case, and may have nonwoven material arranged on external frame to define passage for fluid through which air is discharged from dust catching case to the outside. Said nonwoven material is adapted for filtering out of small particles from air passed through second filter. Dust catcher may be repeatedly used in vacuum cleaner after rinsing thereof. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency and prolonged service life of filters without contaminating thereof. ^ 14 cl, 5 dwg |
