PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recognizing method for a recognition mark in a packaging device for an electronic component, which can well provide the recognition mark on an image. SOLUTION: In the image recognizing method for a recognition mark in a packaging device for an electronic component, which extracts a recognition point 4b in a recognition seal 4 to recognize by taking the recognition seal 4 that is stuck to a recognition object part of a substrate 1 by a camera 4, the surface of the thin film 4a of the recognition seal 4, which is the background color of the point 4b, is set to a red color of a cognate color with a red color lighting beam that is irradiated from a red color LED 6a of a lighting device 6 that lights the recognition object part when taking the image. Thereby the contrast of a lightness difference between a background part and the point 4b on a photographed image 20 is clarified by increasing beam quantity of a reflected beam from the background part, and the recognition for the recognition mark is well performed. |
