The system is for traffic regulation (600) and has a threshold component (200) movable in height direction provided with an upper surface (201) and a blockade device (100) for selectively blocking in the height direction of the threshold component. The blockade device incorporates at least one vehicle sensor (110), located at some distance from the threshold component for detection of the presence of a vehicle. The blockade device can block the threshold component by means of a force transmission medium, such as a fluid, gas or electro-magnetic force field. If the sensor detects the presence of a vehicle it emits a corresponding signal to a regulating unit (130), which after a specific time interval activates electro-magnets (120). As a result, a flange (202) on the threshold component is drawn towards the electro-magnets, so that a position extending above the road surface (601) is fixed or blocked. |
