The seat has a backrest with a front side (5) receiving a user and a rear side oriented opposite to the front side. The backrest has a framework (4a) to support a reinforcement plate (8) at the rear side. The plate is fixed with the framework by fixation tabs (11, 12) that are formed as a single part with the plate and folded at right angles with respect to the plate during engagement of tabs on a horizontal rod (10) of the framework.
