The rotor shaft (4) is supported through one axial bearing (16) and two spaced radial bearings (8,9) of which the one (9) closer to the centre of gravity of the rotor is formed as a gas bearing. The axial bearing can also be a gas bearing. The bearings can be combined into one module.</p> |
