Device for the protection of the membrane of loudspeakers

The apparatus protects the membrane of a loud speaker arranged underneth a device cover (2) having sound outlet openings (3). The apparatus comprises n attachment for the membrane which prevents damage to the membrane by distortion up to a certain degree during normal operation of the loud speaker. The attachment is a membrane distortion limiter (7) which is arranged within the surface of the projection of the membrane (5) on the membrane cover (2). The limiter is not affected by normal operation of the loud speaker.
