Liquid fuel composition for domestic use, in particular for a stove or a burner in the house-hold, comprising at least one organic compound in which essentially all carbon atoms are already attached to at least one oxygen atom so that during burning of the compound essentially carbon dioxide and water are merely formed thereby avoiding the formation of carbon to carbon bonds in the combustion products, particularly methanol, and one or more additives for providing at least one of the properties including flame colour, an unpleasant and preferably sharp odor, fuel color and a repugnant taste. |
