A mounting unit for a display panel, such as a plasma or LCD panel, comprises a mounting plate 12, with first and second support flanges 16, 17, and at least two mounting supports 13, 14. The mounting supports 13, 14 each comprise a first longitudinal member 20 which attaches to a display panel D and a second longitudinal member 29 pivotably attached to the first member 20. The second member 29 comprises two arms 29A, 29B either side of the pivot 30. The first arm, at its end remote from the pivot, is retained 35 to the first support flange 16. The second arm 29B has an anchorage 36 at its end remote from the pivot 30 and is retained 38 to the second support flange 17. A compression spring 39 is located between a position on the first member 20 and the anchorage 36 thereby resiliently biasing the anchorage 36 and the second arm 29B away from the first member 20. |
