The steering wheel has a skeleton with hub section, a bush (18) with central passage, and a separate reinforcement plate (22) imbedded in a die-cast part (20) of the skeleton. The bush has a radially outward facing groove (30), the edge of an aperture in the reinforcement plate projects into the groove, and the two are connected via a jointed connection with composition of matter. The plate has apertures to permit passage of die-cast material. |
