A harness comprises a cable comprising conductors surrounded by insulating covering and arrayed in flat configuration, and connectors installed at locations along the longitudinal direction of the cable and comprising connection terminals. A selected one of the conductors is cut at a position between the connection terminals, and the connection terminals disposed at both sides of cut parts form respectively different circuits. A harness (1) consists of a cable (2) comprising conductors surrounded by an insulating covering and arrayed in flat configuration, and connectors (3a-3d) installed at locations along the longitudinal direction of the cable and comprising connection terminals that connect to the conductors and connect external circuits to the conductors. A selected one of the conductors to which the connection terminals are connected is cut at a position between the connection terminals, and the connection terminals disposed at both sides of cut parts of the conductors form respectively different circuits. An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing a harness by installing each connector at predetermined position in the longitudinal direction of cable such that the connection terminals and conductors are connected, and cutting a selected one of the conductors at a point between the connection terminals that are disposed along the conductor. |
