The safety locking device has a bearing element with at least one opening for locating a coupling piece extending between 2 relatively adjustable clamp elements (4) used for securing the steering column sleeve. The clamp mechanism provided by the coupling piece and the clamp elements is secured by a second clamp mechnism (10,11) with at least one bearing part (11) having an opening aligned with the opening in the bearing element and a spindle (10), coupled to the first clamp mechanism, so that both clamp mechanisms are locked and released via the latter. |
