<p>PURPOSE: An air conditioner is provided to sufficiently secure a mutually fitted state of a flap driving gear and a motor gear and to prevent needless movement of a flap when a front panel is once removed. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner has an air conditioner body(1) housing a heat exchanger and a blower, and a front panel(3) openably and closably mounted to the front part of the air conditioner body. The front panel has a blowoff port, a flap provided at the blowoff port, and a flap driving gear for driving the flap. The air conditioner body has a motor gear meshed with the flap driving gear of the front panel. The air conditioner has a holding mechanism(27) for holding the distance between the axis of the flap driving gear and the axis of the motor gear almost constant.</p> |
