The structure has a hybridization section (10) with a circular hole (13) between front and rear sides. The rear side receives an optoelectronic component (1) opposite to the hole for emitting a light beam. The front side holds a support (20) which has a channel (21) for housing an optical fiber (3) and a channel (22) for housing a ball lens which transmits the beam towards the fiber for coupling the fiber and the component. An independent claim is also included for an assembly of an optoelectronic component and an optical fiber.
