The method of electrostimulation of acupuncture points consists in stimulating acupuncture points - identified by means of electric impedance measurement - with bipolar or unipolar packaged needle impulses. Unique characteristics: Once a given acupuncture point has been localised, the amplitude of electric impedance is cyclically measured at this point during its electrostimulation. The impedance values are compared, until its absolute increase reaches a minimum value or is equal to zero. This moment is signalled as the completion of patency restoration or as the point of saturation of the stimulation for a given stimulation run. 3. Device for electrostimulation of acupuncture points consists of a programmable controller, coupled with a signalling system, impulse generation system and a transformer. Unique characteristics: The first output (W1) of the controller (1) is connected to the input of the forming circuit (2). One of the push-pull outputs of the circuit is connected to the input of the negative rectifier (3). The latter is connected through the controlling input to the second output (W2) of the controller (1). The second push-pull output of the forming circuit (2) is connected to the positive input of the rectifier (4). The latter is connected through the controlling input to the third output (W3) of the controller (1). The centre of the push-pull output of the forming circuit (2) is connected to the frame of the device. The outputs of the negative rectifier (3) and the positive rectifier (4) are connected directly to the output active electrode (EC) of the device. The electrode is also connected to the initial load (5). The other output of the latter is connected to the earthed centre of the push-pull output of the forming circuit (2). A sampling circuit (6) is introduced between the output passive electrode (EB) of the circuit and the earthed centre of the pull-push output of the forming circuit (2). The connection between the circuit and the output passive electrode (EB) is connected to the input of a bipolar-controlled integrating circuit (7). The output of the latter is connected to the analogue-digital input (We4) of the controller (1). The power-supply input of the forming circuit (2) is connected to the power-supply regulator (8). The controlling input of the latter is connected to the output of the separator, while one input is connected to the output of the automatic control circuit (10). The input of the latter is connected to the control output (AUTO) of the controller (1). The second input of the separator (9) is connected to the output of the manual control circuit (11). The input of the latter is connected to the manipulation output (MAN) of the controller (1).
