A microwave proximity directional coupler composed of quarter-wave sections of two coupled, symmetrical or asymmetrical, strip lines, in which coupled strips are located in one or two planes between a layered dielectric medium. Strip lines are located on a dielectric base covered, on the other side, with a screen. It is characterised in that in at least one strip line (1 and/or 2, there is cut out at least one lengthwise gap (3) going along the whole strip line (1 and/or 2). |
