1. The wind-driven water pumping station with a back-up electric drive is equipped with a wind turbine rotor with vertical rotation axis, with two or three upwards-slanting arms, supporting the driving blades. It is characterised in that a water pipe (5) is suspended under each supporting arm (3). The bottom end of the pipe is immersed in water, while the top end is located near the driving blade (4), over the chute trough (9). The latter is located along the circumference of the device. The back-up electric drive is provided by an asynchronous linear induction motor, installed on the rotor of the wind turbine, concentrically with respect to its rotation axis. |
