A window seal assembly for fitting a glass pane to a window frame, comprises of an elongate L-section seal support member having a seal strip mount formed along an inside face of one leg of the L-section and a hook-shaped engaging means formed along an outside face of the other leg. The window seal assembly also includes a seal strip mounted in the seal strip mount and urging means for applying an urging force to move the seal support member to an engaged condition in which the hook-shaped engaging means is engaged with an engaging lip of the window frame during fitting of the assembly, with the seal strip pressed against a face of the glass pane. The urging means comprises of one or more resilient members that act between a portion of the window frame and the seal support member, when pressing the seal strip of the seal support member against the glass pane during fitting of the seal support member.
