1. The method of producing polyestrols consists in condensating polyhydroxy alcohols with polycarboxy acids, their esters and anhydrides. It is characterised in that a mixture of vegetable oil or mixture of oils with maleic anhydride and polyhydroxy alcohol with an aromatic polycarboxy acid, its methylic or glycolic ester or cyclic anhydride, possibly containing additional aliphatic dicarboxy acid or its dimetylic ester or aliphatic carboxyl hydroxyl acid is subjected to condensation. The weight ration of the maleic anhydride to the vegetable oil is between 0.1:1 and 0.6:1. Condensation is carried out at the temperature of 180-220 degrees Celsius.
