PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constitution for largely securing an effective opening width dw by shortening a non-pulled distance (s), in the so-called dropping-in type automatic door. SOLUTION: This automatic door has a guide rail 3, a door tip side first door roller 11 and a door end side second door roller 12 capable of traveling on this guide rail 3, and a door body 2 suspended by the first door roller 11 and the second door roller 12. The guide rail 3 is provided with a first recessed part 21 and a second recessed part 22 in a position corresponding to the first door roller 11 and the second door roller 12 when the door body 2 exists in a full closure position. The door body 2 is provided with a third door roller 13 capable of traveling on the guide rail 3 in a position between the first door roller 11 and the second door roller 12 on the door tip side more than the center of gravity of the door body 2. A third recessed part 23 is arranged on the guide rail 3 in a position corresponding to the third door roller 13 when the door body 2 exists in the full closure position. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
