PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the mass production of metal particulates in an nanoorder. SOLUTION: A substrate 1 composed of an aluminum layer 4 is anodized to form an alumina layer 5 on the surface layer of the substrate 1. By the anodization, the surface of the alumina layer 5 has a structure where a plurality of micropores 6 are formed, and the bottom side of the alumina layer 5 has a structure where the alumina layer 5 is projected (projecting part 7) to the bottom direction of each micropore. Next, the alumina layer is removed from the anodized substrate 2 to obtain a porous structure 3 with a surface structure where a recessed part 8 corresponding to each projecting part 7 is formed. Metal is filled into each recessed part 8 of the porous structure 3 so as to remain only in the recessed part to produce metal particulates. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
