PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of individually responding to a user by avoiding waste of reforming a memory medium such as a ROM storing a program, and the memory medium. SOLUTION: In this image forming apparatus, each of tables used in a color conversion processing, a calibration processing, and a screen processing is stored in a rewritable region different from a body block storing each of modules of a program ROM 23. The selection of each table is carried out such that a fixed value stored in a color conversion module (a data processing section) 234 is compared with information of a kind of paper, a kind of screen or a kind of color combination designated by a host computer 1 and when the information is in the range of the fixed value, an arithmetic operation of an address storing the table is carried out to select the table.
