<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge for coffee which can be used in a normal espresso coffee maker and prepare coffee of a taste equal to normal filter coffee without bubbles. <P>SOLUTION: The cartridge for coffee is provided with bottom parts 7 and 7a having paths 22 and 22a, a cover member 4, airtight foils 21 and 21a covering the paths, and a filter element 2 positioned between the paths at the bottom and coffee powder. Before the cartridge is inserted to a coffee maker, the foil is removed by hand. The filter element prevents the coffee powder from escaping from the cartridge, and the paths prevent the generation of a liquid pressure inside the cartridge, thereby preventing bubble formation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
