<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a contact accident with an opening/closing bar or generation of a vehicle traffic jam caused by no-opening of the opening/closing bar of a tollgate when failing in a charging process by trouble such as communication defect. <P>SOLUTION: When the charging process by an IC card 2 is not normally completed, a control processing part 5 transmits an alarm start signal to an alarm control part 8, and the alarm control part 8 sounds an alarm from a sound output part 10. Because the alarm keeps on sounding until the IC card 2 normally charge-processed by a person in charge of a roadside device is inserted. Accordingly, an attempt to perform passage or escape without paying a toll can be prevented, and automatic toll collection process can be performed even without the opening/closing bar. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
