<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing abrasion detector capable of adjusting zero point by detecting the radial position of a rotor under operation stop state of a canned motor. <P>SOLUTION: Radial position detection coils R1, R2 and R3 are wound over the entire circumference for each of three tooth parts located at a constant interval among tooth parts of a stator. A high frequency signal is applied from a high frequency power supply 62 to the radial position detection coils R1, R2 and R3. Inductance of the radial position detection coils R1, R2 and R3 applied with a high frequency signal is detected by an inductance detecting means 82. A radial position detecting means 84 detects the radical position of the rotar from the inductance of the radical position detection coils R1, R2 and R3 thus detected. Zero point can be adjusted by detecting the radial position of the rotor under operation stop state of a canned motor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
