<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroluminescent display device adapted to compensate for the luminance nonuniformity between panels and its driving method. <P>SOLUTION: The electroluminescent display device comprises a supply voltage source, a data driver for driving the data lines installed in a multiplicity at the panels, a gamma voltage generation section for generating the gamma voltage of a number of voltage levels in such a manner that the pixel voltages corresponding to the data are generated by the data drivers and a threshold voltage compensation section which is installed between the gamma voltage generation section and the supply voltage source to adjust the voltage value of the supply voltage source and to supply the voltage in the voltage generation section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
