<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device for knee protection capable of protecting a deploying airbag so that a key accessory A may not interfere with and damage the airbag. <P>SOLUTION: This airbag device S1 for knee protection includes the airbag 40 capable of protecting the knees K of a driver D and an airbag cover 29 disposed so as to cover the vehicle rear side of the airbag 40 stored in a case 13. The airbag cover 29 is positioned on the vehicle front side of the key accessory A being hung from a key E inserted in a key cylinder 6 and includes a moving section 35 which is pushed by the deploying airbag 40 to move to the vehicle rear side, interfere with at least a lower end Ab side of the key accessory A and to move on the key accessory A.
