PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens shift mechanism whose constitution can hardly be complicated even in the case of shifting a projection lens unit up and down and right and left, and whose shift operation is easy. SOLUTION: The lens shift mechanism for shifting the projection lens unit 115 for projecting a video in a direction orthogonal to an optical axis is equipped with a lens mount member 2 in which the lens unit 115 is fixed, a contact surface part 3 with which the mount member 2 comes into contact, and a pressing means 6 pressing the mount member 2 toward the contact surface part 3, wherein the contact part of the mount member 2 coming into contact with the contact surface part 3 is constituted of a sliding member.
