PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive optical fiber collimator with comparatively low loss manufactured, using a collimator lens optimized in a certain optical fiber and various optical fibers. SOLUTION: An optical fiber collimator comprising a collimator lens 13 and the optical fiber fused and connected to the collimator lens includes refractivity distribution optimized in a first optical fiber 11 fusing and connecting it by the collimator lens. In the optical fiber collimator 10, one end of the first optical fiber is fused and connected to the collimator lens, a second optical fiber 12 having a structural parameter different from the first optical fiber is fused and connected to the other end of the first optical fiber, and the connection points are stored in a holder 14.
